Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, a gifted actress who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna Silk is the child of a Briton, and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. In her early years, Anna was featured in a variety of commercials. In November 1999, Anna relocated to Toronto to advance her acting career. She eventually shifting in Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she was introduced to at an Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her husband in 2009. Anna became a Jew at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. They got married civilly in December of this year. They then reaffirmed their vows at an Jewish wedding ceremony that took place in Fredericton, in April 2011.
