Emily Bett Rickards born July 24, 1991 is an Canadian actress who is famous for her role as Felicity Smoak on The CW television series Arrow. Rickards grew up within British Columbia. As a child, Rickards began her journey by exploring the musical theater and later dance. Then, she wanted to introduce herself to professional acting. Her high school graduation was sooner than she anticipated and enrolled at Vancouver Film School where she was awarded the Acting Essentials Certificate. Through the open audition that followed, an agent was found for her. Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver was the place she studied. Originally signed as a one-episode guest on the show, her relationship with show's co-star Stephen Amell coupled with positive fan reaction as well as her humorous quips resulted in her first signing to be a regular co-star for the remainder of the initial season.
